Fire Extinguisher Technician (Licensed)

Local Fire Protection Company in Orange County has immediate need for a licensed and certified Fire Extinguisher Service Technician in Orange County, CA.​

POSITION

Fire Extinguisher Technician (Licensed)

Full Time with commission and benefits. Pay package includes base plus commission - make $18 - $30+ per hour.

We are looking for a technician who is honest, positive, reliable, hard-working, professional, organized and has a detailed knowledge of fire extinguisher state codes and requirements. We have route work available for you today!

EXPERIENCE

1+ Year of Fire Extinguisher Servicing – Annual Maintenance, Recharge Services

Exit Lighting Service & Repairs experience is a plus.

REQUIREMENTS

Must have a current active license with EE# issued by the California State Fire Marshal.

Must have a valid state driver's license.

Must be able to pass drug and background test.

DUTIES

Duties include performing service, testing, inspection, repairs and new sales of Fire Extinguishers and other equipment/products. Running and maintaining a company provided service truck. Technician to have an in-depth knowledge of fire extinguisher codes and hold a current California State Fire Marshal EE# License in good standing.

7:00am Start Time

40 hours per week with some overtime

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Valid Driver’s License with Good Driving Record

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Work Experience

Good Customer Service Skills

Valid State Fire Marshal Certificate of Registration

1+ Years Fire Protection Field Experience

Knowledge of State Codes & Recalls

Ability to Work Independently

Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills
