WANTED: A Expert Cloud Engineer with a Top Secret clearance in Chantilly, VA.

As a Cloud Engineer, you will:

• Be responsible as part of a team of highly skilled professionals for designing, developing, testing and integration of a "from the ground up" new Microsoft Azure on-premises Enterprise IT datacenter for supporting multiple DoD organizations.
• This is an outstanding opportunity to design and build a new greenfield Azure solution.
• This position offers great opportunities for technical experience and growth.
• Position has some remote work flexibility.

A week in the life of a Cloud Engineer:

• Designing, developing, testing, and integrating a Microsoft Azure on-premises Enterprise IT datacenter using Agile methodologies in accordance with best practices
• Collaborating with engineering and development teams to evaluate and identify optimal cloud solutions.
• Regularly reviewing existing cloud solutions and making recommendations for improvements
• Interacting with clients, providing cloud support, and making recommendations based on client needs
• Diagnosing and resolving complex performance, security, and/or technical challenges
• Designing automated approaches to standardize the development of Service Design Packages to integrate enterprise systems
• Create and maintain system technical documentation and replace documentation with well documented code
• Interact with users to gather requirements, evaluate vendor products, analyze alternatives, and make recommendations to purchase hardware and software

Work with the information systems manager to identify financial systems and reports to improve budget formulation, execution, and monitoring.

Job Requirements

• Active Top Secret clearance
• IT or STEM Bachelor's Degree and 7+ years of relevant IT experience
• Minimum DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 or greater certification required. It can be one of the following: CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, GCIH.
• Proficiency in PowerShell, Bash, or Python automation
• Must receive DoD 8570 Computing Environment certification within 6 months of hire
