UX UI Designer

 Our client - an insurance entity that provides technology solutions via a suite of services - seeks a UI/UX Designer to join their growing, creative, and action-oriented team. 

The UI/UX Designer role will focus on aligning and improving the various user interfaces with which our clients interact. The role is responsible for designing user journeys, creating graphic elements, building navigation components, making use of suitable typography, and producing high-quality visual designs from concept to execution. 

The right candidate will understand the close tie between all customer touchpoints and be focused on a consistent, pleasing, and engaging interaction and experience, achieved through actions promoting consistency, ease-of-use, and strengthening of the brand.

The UI/UX Designer will explore many different approaches to solving a specific business request. The right candidate will ensure that graphics and layout promote logical flows from one step to the next, based on collaboration, input, and feedback from teammates and stakeholders. They will conduct interviews, observe user behavior, identify improvement opportunities, and modify the design accordingly. The UI/UX Designer will define and maintain wireframes, mockups, and UI specifications. They will communicate scenarios, end-to-end experiences, models, and designs to stakeholders.
The Designer in this role is charged with designing each screen or page and ensuring that the UI visually enables the right UX path, deciding the most appropriate placement for content or structure as well as deciding the best controls and elements for purpose. 

A key component of this is a design style guide, which will be created and owned by the Designer, and which will ensure that consistent design language is applied across the products. The UI/UX Designer will assist in generating HTML and CSS in good order to be delivered to front-end developers for implementation. Knowledge of React is a bonus.

Responsibilities:
• Participating in the gathering and evaluation of business requirements in collaboration with developers and analysts
• Create UI specifications from interviews and requirements
• Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows, and site maps
• Design graphic UI elements like menus, tabs, widgets
• Build page navigation buttons and search fields
• Develop UI wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that clearly illustrate how a product functions, looks, and flows
• Create original pixel-perfect graphic designs (images, sketches, tables, brochures, icons, banners, etc.) for mobile, web, and marketing 
• Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback
• Manage and adhere to comprehensive style guide and style standards for fonts, colors, images, brand, etc. to ensure a consistent design language
• Maintain consistency in visual elements or UI behavior across products
