MACHINE OPERATOR

Full Time Machine Operators needed!

POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for set-up and operation of various packaging machines. Communicate daily production schedule with assigned support crew.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Machine Operation

1. Machine set-up
   1. Able to set-up machine to produce product to company standards based on schedule provided by management.
2. Operation Responsibilities:
   1. Operate various equipment at optimal performance per manufacturers specifications and recommendations
   2. Communicate daily schedule to any support staff assigned
      1. Work with Packers to insure all quality specifications and standards are met
      2. Recognize and address all sanitation needs in a food manufacturing environment and assign support staff to correct any deficiencies
   3. Maintain a safe & sanitary work station
   4. Communicate maintenance needs to Supervisor & Maintenance Staff
   5. Observe general performance of the equipment and effectively communicate any machine performance deviations found.

a) Perform all work following Company, Federal & State policies, guidelines and laws.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Experience: 3+ years manufacturing experience (recommended)

Education: High School Diploma

Computer Skills: Experience with touch screen operator interface (recommended)

Language: Well-developed verbal and written English communication skills
