Position Summary:

The Quality Assurance Reviewer will work within the Quality Department to assist with compliance and continuous improvement activities. The primary function of the Quality Assurance Reviewer will be to provide review of processing records to ensure compliance to applicable release criteria. The Quality Assurance Reviewer will also ensure that completed documents are properly scanned, filed, stored, and saved in BBA's electronic system. The position responsibilities may include the following, although other duties and responsibilities may be assigned as necessary:

Hours: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Essential Functions:

  • Performs processing batch record review and release functions
  • Reviews irradiation certificates and laboratory test reports
  • Reviews donor production plans
  • Generates Excel spreadsheets to record review activities
  • Reports non-conformances and discrepancies
  • Ensures completed batch records and other applicable Quality documents are scanned and filed after completion
  • Achieves targeted goals as set by the production schedule
  • Assists in maintaining archived files and other routine functions of the Quality Department
  • Participates in continuous improvement functions and implement changes for improved processes
  • Other duties and responsibilities as necessary
  • Adheres to the letter and spirit of the company Code of Conduct, the AdvaMed Code, MedTech Code, and all other company policies. Ensures Compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations, both in the United States and internationally, by completing introductory and annual training and maintaining knowledge of compliance as it applies to your role
  • Represents the company in a professional manner and uphold the highest standards of ethical business practices and socially responsible conduct in all interactions with other employees, customers, suppliers, and other third parties

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree or higher preferred
  • Minimum one (1) year experience with document review is preferred
  • Familiarity with GMP is preferred
  • Must be knowledgeable with Microsoft word and Excel programs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Self-starter
  • Advanced critical thinking and problems-solving skills

  • Required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
  • Required to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds

Required to possess specific visons abilities, including: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and capacity to adjust focus.
