Where do rig welders work?

Once you have a sufficient level of experience as a Rig Welder, you can work on offshore drilling rigs. These rigs are often located in isolated areas, so this work site may require extensive travel. Rig Welders can also secure employment with energy companies, manufacturing plants, oil refineries, marinas, and piers. The work environment of a Rig Welder is often noisy, with the frequent use of power tools and equipment.
