Where do percussion instructors work?

Percussion instructors work at various levels of education; in middle school and high school, band directors also teach percussion sections how to play. At the college level, each section tends to have its own dedicated instructor. You may also work as a private tutor, instructing clients by appointment. Percussion instructors can also find work in music and recreational clubs and churches, and they can set up their own studios. The most common place of employment is still at various levels of school as music educators.
