Where do occupational therapy aides work?

Occupational therapy aides work in a variety of settings. You may work at large hospitals or other medical care facilities. If you prefer a smaller work environment, you can find jobs at occupational therapy offices, speech and audiology offices, nursing homes, and outpatient rehab clinics. A small number of aides work in government, including as part of social assistance departments or at schools. Luckily, the qualifications do not change much from location to location, so you can easily transition to a different work environment if you find yourself dissatisfied with your position.
