Where do laboratory couriers work?

Career: Laboratory Courier

Laboratory couriers work in a number of settings. You may work primarily in one location, such as a hospital, where you take deliveries between departments or floors. You can also work for pharmaceutical companies, using their offices as your home base. You can also work for messenger or logistics companies that have contracts with medical facilities or hospitals. In larger cities, you may deliver packages via bike, so you may have exposure to different weather conditions throughout your workday. Most laboratory couriers are on their feet or traveling for the majority of their shift.
