Infertility nurses work in numerous settings. As an infertility nurse, you can work at a large hospital, a clinic that specializes in infertility and reproductive health, an OB-GYN office, an egg donation center, or a counseling program specializing in reproductive issues. In a counseling program, you may focus on counseling just the mother or the couple. In each of these workplaces, your job entails varying responsibilities and utilizing necessary skills, such as providing medical advice, performing specialized procedures, or focusing on patients’ mental health.
