What does an infertility nurse do?

Career: Infertility Nurse

An infertility nurse, also referred to as a reproductive nurse, provides consultation, care, and assistance to people who need medical advice on reproductive health. As an infertility nurse, your duties are often centered around working with women who are having or may have difficulty in conceiving due to physiological or other conditions. In addition to providing information and education about fertility and reproductive practices, such as IVF treatments, you are an important sounding board for your patient when they need to discuss difficult personal and interpersonal issues related to pregnancy and infertility.
