Where do corrosion engineers work?

Corrosion engineers work in a variety of industries and locations. You can work in civil engineering and construction, the energy industry, including on- and off-shore drilling operations, industrial manufacturing, aerospace engineering, and mining. Many corrosion engineers work in remote areas or travel a great deal for work. For example, many of the jobs in oil and natural gas are in the Middle East or other oil producing countries like Nigeria and Venezuela. You can also work at distant offshore sites. Similarly, working on infrastructure can take you to distant locations.
