Where do biomedical scientists work?

Biomedical scientists work in laboratories and often conduct their research in clinical settings. You likely work in both a lab and an office to first gather data, and then organize and analyze your findings. In an academic setting, biomedical scientists work in laboratories in the universities, and typically teach classes in addition to performing research. Biotechnology companies and pharmaceutical companies also need biomedical scientists. In these jobs, you develop, test and standardize new drugs.
