How to become a biomedical scientist?

Career: Biomedical Scientist

To become a biomedical scientist, you need a bachelor’s degree in a scientific subject like biology, biomedical sciences, chemistry, biochemistry, molecular biology, neuroscience, or bio-engineering. Many jobs in the field only require an undergraduate degree, but to advance in this career, you should obtain a doctorate in biomedical sciences. Some biomedical scientists also hold a doctor of medicine degree. If that’s the path you choose to pursue, there are dual M.D./Ph.D. programs in the biomedical field.
