Where can securities analysts work?

As a securities analyst, you may work for a variety of financial institutions. These include commercial banks, investment banks, pension funds, insurance firms, or mutual funds. Most jobs for security analysts are in large cities with significant financial infrastructures, such as London, Geneva, and New York City. You may focus on regional investments, such as energy companies in the Middle East or mineral extraction in Australia, and you may be required to travel regularly for work to make on-site assessments of a company’s structure and operations.
