What tools do atmospheric scientists use?

Atmospheric scientists must be able to read maps and charts and be able to analyze data with statistical software and modeling programs. When working in the field, you will often have to use special instruments to measure weather and atmospheric conditions, like weather gauges and barometric pressure gauges. You might also use Doppler radars, solar radiation stations, lidar stations, and weather balloons.
