What questions do background investigators ask?

Background investigators may ask about the relationships of a prospective candidate, or their performance in previous positions. You may also seek information about other qualities, such as integrity, honesty, attention to detail, or punctuality. As a background investigator, you may request specific knowledge about job titles and dates, or you may ask more leading, or open questions to get the interviewee to offer additional information. You may be required to record your conversations or take notes to accurately document the results of your interviews.
