What makes a good PMO manager?

A good PMO manager is someone who is a strong facilitator, leader, and strategist. You must be able to coordinate many different aspects of a project under tight deadlines while keeping track of financial and budgetary issues. You must be able to communicate effectively with upper management about timetables, finances, and delivery of projects. Within each project, you must be able to determine how best to connect individuals with particular skill sets to work on relevant areas of the project.
