This team includes engineers, whose responsibilities are the actual design and installation of the system. The focus of the project manager is to keep the plan within budget and on schedule, so their duties also include writing status reports. Qualifications for an engineer include a degree in computer science or engineering, while a telecommunications project manager may have a degree in business administration and prior work experience in telecommunications.
