What is an in store demonstrator?

An in store demonstrator, or store product demonstrator, explains the benefits of products, demonstrates how to use them, or provides product samples in a retail or grocery store. Their duties are to enhance customer experience and demonstrate a need for a product. They can do anything from makeup or personal care demonstrations, to offering samples and recipes for food products. They should be knowledgeable about the product and provide an engaging experience with the product for the store clientele to increase sales.
