What is a union job?

A union job can refer to two separate types of jobs. One is jobs that support the structure of the union, such as research, organizing, and administration. The other is any job that is represented by a union. If you work for a union, you generally provide support and resources to your union members, such as helping to negotiate collective bargaining agreements with the management of a specific employer. If you work in a union, your duties and responsibilities are contingent on the type of work you do.
