What is a travel agent?

Travel agents help tourists and business travelers book transportation to and from their destinations as well as accommodations and activities during their stay. As a travel agent, your job is to provide advice to clients about various destinations, book airfare, bus fare, or passage on a cruise ship, make reservations for lodging, rental cars, restaurants, and entertainment venues, and develop trip itineraries.
