What is a training consultant?

A training consultant plans and implements employee education programs for a company or organization. In this career, you help employees improve their job or sales performance and hone their skills so that they can be more productive. As a training consultant, you may be asked to look at the business and suggest niches and areas that could improve with specialized training or education. Your duties include arranging outside training for employees if you do not have the qualifications to conduct the training yourself.
