What is a talent recruiter?

A talent recruiter, also known as a headhunter, typically works in Human Resources to find and pursue candidates for employment in corporate job openings, sometimes for the company they directly work for and sometimes for businesses they provide services to. As a talent recruiter, you attract candidates and build relationships during the onboarding process, promote the company’s reputation, and screen applications and resumes among other duties. You work to fill vacancies as soon as possible instead of planning a long-term, ongoing hiring strategy for acquisition.
