What is a stock controller?

A stock controller specializes in managing inventory. In this career, your duties include ensuring proper supply of materials and goods necessary for business operations. You collect data, verify incoming and outgoing shipments are correct, and create reports on inventory-related activity for your manager. Another job responsibility is to deal with or report items damaged during shipping. Previous warehouse experience or logistic skills are an advantage. Employers may prefer applicants who have educational qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in logistics or a related field.
