What is a revenue analyst?

Revenue analysts are specialized accountants who track company revenue and suggest ways to increase it. As a revenue analyst, you monitor the income of your company, comparing expenditures and revenue over various periods of time, and analyze the data to determine how the company’s figures compare to economic trends and to similar competitors. Job duties include conducting regular audits, developing strategies to maximize company revenue, creating revenue control plans, and ensuring that revenue targets are on track.
