What is a pump installer?

A pump installer is responsible for the installation and repair of a pump system connected to a well for water. Your responsibilities and duties in this career include traveling to the worksite, preparing all the parts and equipment necessary to complete the job, operating the various vehicles needed to bring equipment to the site and install it, and logging all of your work. A pump installer is also responsible for training installer helpers and overseeing the installation. Many pump installers also have experience with well drilling.
