What is a performance analyst?

A performance analyst helps companies increase revenues and profitability by improving operational efficiency. As a performance analyst, your job duties include evaluating current business practices and reviewing revenues and expenses. You analyze this data to recommend strategies to management that reduce costs and improve operational efficiency. Performance analysts may work independently or as part of a team.
