What is a learning technologist?

As a learning technologist, your duties are to provide academic or corporate institutions with eLearning support. Your responsibilities are to collaborate with other academics and online learning and curriculum development specialists to create and maintain digital learning programs. In a corporate setting, you may be responsible for instruction and assessment related to implementing new technology or protocols at an office. Some digital technologists work for libraries, where they assist library staff in developing digital archives and interactive features for patrons. You also help create instruction and assessment tools for students or users.
