A health services administrator is responsible for overseeing the operations of a health care facility such as a hospital, doctor's office, or clinic. As a health services administrator, you have management duties that involve ensuring the patients receive adequate treatment and the facility is operating within its approved financial budget. You are also responsible for hiring, firing, and supervising employees of the medical facility. You may establish budgets and consider long-range development plans for the facility as well.
