What is a flexible job?

A flexible job is any position that may not have traditional work hours or locations, such as independent contractor jobs and remote work. An independent contractor is someone who is self-employed but does work for a company, either in the office or from home. A remote employee is someone who works from home rather than in a traditional office. This type of work is also known as telecommuting or a work-from-home job.
