The RoleFlexible IT is hiring an experienced Technology Specialist to work full-time at Big Geyser's Brentwood location. You will be employed and supported by Flexible IT, but Big Geyser will be your day-to-day workplace. You will work onsite five days per week.
Big Geyser is a family-owned beverage and snack distributor that has operated in New York since 1986. Its Brentwood location is a fast-paced, high-energy environment supporting a large regional distribution business. You will work independently as their familiar IT presence, backed by Flexible IT when reinforcement is needed.
This is a mid-level role for someone with at least two years of professional IT support experience and a solid technical foundation.What You Will Do
  • Serve as Big Geyser's primary day-to-day technology resource
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, Microsoft 365, Azure, and general end-user issues
  • Configure and support computers, applications, accounts, and peripherals
  • Own requests from the initial report through resolution
  • Keep users informed and document your work clearly
  • Identify recurring issues and opportunities to improve Big Geyser's technology environment
  • Work with the broader Flexible IT team when an issue requires reinforcement
What We Are Looking For
  • At least two years of professional IT support experience in a business environment
  • The ability to diagnose and resolve common technical issues independently
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows computers, hardware, software, and basic networking
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good judgment, organization, documentation, and follow-through
  • An active interest in AI, including examples of how you have used it to solve a practical problem or improve the way you work
  • Managed Service Provider experience is helpful but not required
