What is a design center consultant?

A design center consultant works with customers in a design center to help them plan a building or room upgrade. In this career, you usually listen to the needs of the buyer then create and present several options and features from which they can choose. You may specialize in new construction, interior design, doors and windows, home renovations, or a related field. Regardless of your specialty, this is a sales position, so your primary duties are to present the customer with options that meet their needs and try to convince them to make a purchase.
