What is a data entry analyst?

As a data entry analyst, your primary responsibilities are to interpret the information in a company’s databases and help upper-level management make informed decisions regarding business goals. Your job duties include developing computer databases, improving processes for data entry, analyzing complex data sets, and reporting your findings to management and company executives. The qualifications needed to start a career as a data entry analyst include a college degree in information technology, computer science, or data science, excellent analytical thinking skills, and accountability to deadlines. Some employers prefer job candidates with previous data entry or data analyst experience.
