What is zoology?

Zoology, also called wildlife biology, is the science of studying animals and animal behaviors. Zoologists and Wildlife Biologists will monitor how animals interact with their ecosystems and other wildlife. They also track and study the impact that human developments have on the natural habitats of wildlife. The focus of Zoology is the conservation of wildlife environments and protecting wildlife from threats. Zoologist help sustain and increase vulnerable animal and wildlife populations.
