The job duties of an operations technician vary depending on the field in which they work. In this career, you can work in manufacturing, broadcasting, the aerospace industry, and in the tech department of a corporation. Regardless of the industry, your responsibilities focus on setting up, operating, and maintaining equipment. You can expect to perform maintenance and repairs and possibly make regular inspections to ensure that equipment and technical systems are in proper working order.
