What does an automation architect do?

As an automation architect, you work with leadership and stakeholders throughout an organization to design and develop approaches to automating business processes. This role is similar to that of a software solutions architect but does not necessarily involve a particular framework or technology. Instead, your responsibilities and duties involve assessing current business processes, making a case for or against automating a given process, and designing an architecture to achieve identified goals. Often, the drive to automate processes stems from a desire to reduce costs, improve accuracy, streamline workflows throughout the organization, and enhance customer experience.
