What does a virtual event coordinator do?

As a virtual event coordinator, your primary responsibilities are to help your customers plan meetings and other events. In this role, you may offer consultation during the planning process, coordinate with vendors, make reservations, ensure every visible aspect matches the tone of the event, and otherwise act as a central point of contact for individuals involved in the event. Your duties typically depend on the type of events you coordinate. For example, you may oversee different tasks when planning a birthday party for a family compared to organizing a corporate work retreat. This job may involve making travel arrangements for guests, negotiating prices and deals, and setting up AV needs.
