What does a Tigrinya interpreter do?

As a Tigrinya interpreter, your job is to facilitate communication by interpreting between Tigrinya and another language, often English or French. In this role, you may translate material as people speak it, determine the best words to use to help others communicate with each other, and read or write in Tigrinya as necessary. Like all interpreter roles, this job requires being fluent in at least two languages and can include travel as needed to visit clients, gather materials, or research information. Tigrinya is primarily spoken in some areas in and near Ethiopia.
