What does a scientific recruiter do?

A scientific recruiter provides career placement for a candidate in the field of science. As a scientific recruiter, you research talent and assist in the hiring process by conducting pre-screens and interviews, assessing candidate qualifications, and negotiating and closing job offers. You are expected to actively network and recruit from the local and national scientific industry. Your duties may require that you review and write job specifications, partner and communicate with various human resource and talent acquisition departments that may be seeking new talent, and develop and maintain partnerships by delivering high levels of customer service.
