What does a remote software project manager do?

As a remote software project manager, you work from home, assisting members of a software development and testing team in the creation, testing, and optimization of computer software for a business or organization. Your duties are to plan a budget for a project, outline the project scope, delegate tasks to team members, oversee project operations and team performance, and ensure the successful completion of the project. Remote software project managers can be either employees of a technology or software development company who carry out their job responsibilities from home or independent contractors who design and oversee projects for private clients.
