What does a remote database developer do?

A database developer or programmer creates and implements computer databases that store and maintain an entity’s data information. You work with clients to identify the best database management software and test the application or program for performance and efficiency. Your responsibilities include designing information systems to meet the needs of the client, testing product performance, performing data analysis, and developing documentation from your analysis. In some cases, you may also train or teach other developers or client teams. As a remote developer, you may complete your duties on your own or as part of a remote team for a corporate client or employer.
