What does a product trainer do?

As a product trainer, you help employees of a company obtain the knowledge they need to participate in the development, sales, and use of various products. Fulfilling the duties and responsibilities of this job often involves gathering information, selecting teaching methods, and creating customized courses that focus on different aspects of the product. Product trainers often interview employees, create online learning modules, research additional information, and monitor the overall effectiveness of training programs. This job title refers exclusively to training employees on various company products and should not be confused with roles that train customers on how to use the same products.
