As a medical billing and coding instructor, your duties are to teach students the skills and practical knowledge related to medical billing and coding practices. Many medical billing and coding instructors work in vocational schools and community colleges, while others may work for a hospital, a health care provider, or an insurance company where they train new employees. Regardless of the work setting, the responsibilities for the job are similar.
