What does a hotel controller do?

A hotel controller is a financial manager who specializes in the hospitality industry. In this career, you manage the operations of the accounts department, overseeing budgets, cash flow analysis, and audits. Hotel controllers may work in one hotel or manage the finances of a chain of hotels. They usually report to the hotel’s board of directors and CEO, and must produce regular financial reports on the current status of the hotel’s finances.
