What does a healthcare CIO do?

A healthcare CIO is responsible for the information technology at a healthcare organization, such as a healthcare provider, a hospital, or an insurance company. Your responsibilities differ depending on the type of organization you work for, but your duties often include overseeing the organization’s technology strategy and IT department operations and meeting with executive directors at your organization to analyze IT performance.
