A graduate pharmacist intern works in a pharmacy under the supervision of a licensed professional pharmacist. Your duties in a pharmacy internship include participating in and supporting the operation of the pharmacy. You may dispense drugs, measure and prepare medication, and answer customer questions. Since you work as an intern, a pharmacist should check your work and offer guidance when necessary, and you must abide by regulations governing what you can and cannot do as an intern. You may perform your responsibilities in a retail pharmacy or a pharmacy in a healthcare facility.
