What does a driver trainer do?

A driver trainer works as a driving instructor for a company or a school. You may offer training on different types of vehicles, but your duties always include working with a student driver in a classroom or behind the wheel. In this career, your responsibilities could involve working with students pursuing a standard license for a private car. You may also offer training for truck drivers, bus drivers, or fleet drivers. You may provide instruction to help them prepare to operate the vehicle or to earn a particular class of driving license such as a CDL.
