What does a disaster manager do?

As a disaster manager, your responsibilities include overseeing both the preparation for disasters such as hurricanes, tornados, and wildfires, and the response to these emergencies after they occur. You work with agencies and governments to prepare for potential disasters and help implement procedures to respond quickly to a crisis. After an emergency, your duties may include working to ensure resources arrive promptly and that rescue and recovery efforts follow pre-planned procedures.
