Data stewards are specialists and understand every aspect of working with data. Central to a data steward’s job is maintaining data quality. This means that, as a data steward, you must capture all meta-information related to the data you manage, including definitions, physical manifestation, rules/governance, and related data models. In this role, you also oversee the accurate documentation of a company’s data.
